Lee & Clare Newman (UK) - 02/08/2010"We found the property and all the rooms and bathrooms, spacious, modern and to a very high standard, Excellent air conditioning in the main living area and bedrooms. The pool and garden were cleaned and checked everyday and we found these staff lovely and friendly. The pool was perfect for both Harry 5-6 and Tom 12-13 year old, where Harry actually learned to swim. The pool was extremly inviting and even better when the garden and pool was light up in the evening for a night time swim.
The Pagoda was an excellent shaded area for playing card games and board games or eating lunch and we used this daily.
It had good security and felt safe with the alarm and dead bolt. We used the cycles for shopping and all the board games that were at the villa and used the ipod player every day down by the pool, would have been lost without it.
We would only really have changed one thing, either having sky news / bbc world available on the TV or having a TV that would have been compatable with an Ipod/touch, I took the leads out with me, or a DVD player available. We did not have much time for TV but some nights would have been nice to chill out to a film as a family, Not individually.

Found this to be the smartest boat in Dalyan, very clean and bright, with good facilities. The highest quality food I had tasted, this included the resturants we visited. If we could have come to eat every day on the boat we would have. The fruit and desert were also of the highest quailty we had tasted in our 2 weeks. The pace and atmosphere on the boat was just perfect and we found both trips totally enjoyable, it was amongst the highlights of our holiday. It has a good area to launch off for snorkelling and had a fresh water shower for after the swimming. In fact you would not go on another boat in Dalyan after experiencing the Olive Lounge."

The villa is lovely, thank goodness you have aircon in the bedrooms, apparently we had abnormal heat wave. On the second day the temperature got to 52 (that was a culture shock from rainy UK) all other days it never got below 45. Thanks ever so for the villa it was bloody marvellous! We all had a great time, the people are so friendly, our evening game was to see how far we could walk down the street without being ambushed into going into their resteraunt ..lol, we made a few friends there. Your villa certainly lived up to its promise. Your villa is lovely with everything we could have wanted and more (we have also donated a bike pump and can opener). The view at night from the balcony to the floodlit rock tombs is beautiful and we had a very relaxed evening sipping our champagne as night fell and the stars appeared. Very romantic! Dalyan has changed dramatically since our last visit 15 years ago, but the people are as warm and hospitable as ever. My son, Matthew, loved all the wildlife in the area from the terrapins in the ditches to the owls, hedgehogs, bats and frogs we saw round the villa itself ; we grew especially fond of a little frog who appeared every night to swim in the pool. We had spent a holiday earlier in the year in Florida where we 'did Disney' but according to Matthew our holiday in Villa Ria was even better - high praise indeed from a ten year old! The villa itself looks like something out of an American TV series so I suppose we shouldn't have been too surprised to see a Turkish film crew arrive one day to start filming at one of the neighbouring villas. I was hoping we might have been talent spotted but the only thing to star in their film was our air-bed ! Once again thanks for such great accommodation. We will certainly be back (and next time we won't leave it fifteen years !!) and will also be recommending your lovely villa to friends.
